Day 11: Return from Nikko

This morning we woke up and it was still snowing, but this time without the strong winds. So we got up first thing and went back to the rooftop to enjoy a morning soak. Since the previous night, they had adjusted for the change in weather by really cranking up the heat in the outdoor tub.

There is nothing better than soaking in a steaming hot bath while it's snowing. The view from the rooftop was really nice too, with rolling hills out to the horizon. I wish I could have taken a picture of the outdoor onsen, but that story would end with me getting tackled by a bunch of naked Japanese dudes. And nobody wants that.

After breakfast, we got on a bus and then a train back to Tokyo.
