We also found a picture of the nihonshu (sake) that we picked up in Nikko. We were told this one won a competition for best nihonshu in Japan the past two years.
We were on our own today so it was a chance to catch up on chores and shopping. We picked up a tetsubin for ourselves today, which is a traditional cast iron tea kettle. These are historically used in Japanese tea ceremony.
